NYC! The city that never sleeps!

NYC was my big dream since i was a kid and i guess it's also the big dream of millions of people!
Last year i have the chance to make my dream come true and i booked a ticket and there i was! August 2010 Landing in NYC <3
I could not believe! Everything was so big and so different than the place where i've come, it was like entering in a new dimension but hundred times better! The big buildings, the Empire State, the Grand Central, Times Square, Miss Liberty :') (...) there's so many things to see and to do there that i think we can't get bored in that city.
If your idea is to visit a lot of pay places i recommend you the NYC pass. This pass gives you free entry to plenty places and i'm sure you'll save a lot of money with it.
Let me show you some of my favourite places there!

The view from the top is one of the amazing ones i've seen in my entire life. If you go to NYC you should spend some time on the line and de $22 you pay worth the entire price.

The Grand Central Station

Grand Central is a train station is always moving and surrouded by hundreds of people.
It's a terminal station at 42nd street and Park avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
In the inside you have cofee shops, bookstores, clothes stores like Banana Republic, restaurants, and also an Apple store.

The Rockefeller Center

Wich one of you have never seen at least at movies a huge christmas tree and an ice skating ring right in front of one of the biggest buildings in New York? That's it! It's in front on the Rockefeller Center. The atrium is surrounded of lots of flags fom other countries, and there's a huge gold statue in the center.
You can go up to the Top of the Rock to see another amazing view from the city, and at the sunset the view is even more pretty. Prices at the sunset are a lil bit higher but the view speaks for her self.

Times Square

I was really exited to get to Times Square and i was not all disappointed :) Everything is even better than we see on tv. There are so many lights, a lot of yellow cabs passing through us, the giant stores like Disney Store, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Café, Toy's r us, Footlocker, Sephora....you can really feel the magic around you in this city. I felt like a kid when i get here :)
This also the place where Broadway and the 7th Av. get toguether.
Here you can see a lot of people in a costume and also teh famous Naked Cowboy who is not actually naked!
ABC, MTV, NASDAQ...are those names familiar? Sure they are! They're also at Time Square!

Battery Park

This park is at the end of the Broadway.
When you're getting there you can see the Charging bull wich is a symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity. A picture with the bull it's a must have :)
A few steps away you can see the river and the statue of liberty. Actually this is where the statue cruises depart for Liberty Island and Ellis Island. The ticket include both islands and the view from the boat is amazing.

Mummy look there's miss green!
well this was a lil kid conversation while approching to Liberty Island. And he was right, the statue is so green! Not as huge as i thought it was but it didn't desappoint me. The Ticket is only for the boat. If you want to visit the inside you have to pay another ticket or you need to get a combo one.

The Flatiron Building

The flatiron building was one of the firsts skyscraper built in new york. The name cames because it as the shape of an flatiron. It's located between the 5th av. ,Broadway and the 23rd street.

Central Park

This is probably one of the biggest parks that a city can have. This is NYC lung! A magical place.
Some of the most romantic movie scenes were filmed there and they became a part of our life.
